Complicated Fracture Dislocation

Hip with Fracture Head Femur

50 years old Polytraumatized female involved in  a mass RTA  resulted in fracture both bones both legs and fr. lt. acetabulum in addition to the following injury:

She had fracture dislocation of the right hip in the level of intertrochanteric area  . The head of the femur  was displaced postero-inferior .

Patient was taken immediately to OR where she was operated by Open reduction of the dislocation , fixation of the head femur by a single screw and fixation of  the trocahnteric fracture.
